When approving legal transactions (e.g. land purchase contract or transfer contract) in which you were represented without power of attorney or not in the correct form, it is often necessary to obtain subsequent approval in a publicly notarized form (usually signature notarization). The signature must be executed in person before the notary or acknowledged in person to the notary.
In most cases, you will receive a prepared declaration of approval from the notary where the transaction was notarized (this is cheaper), which you should send us as a scan in advance. Use our online form for the preparation:
Authentication of signatures
It is important to note that the certification of a signature or a hand sign is only effective if it is executed or recognized in the presence of the notary. The term signature includes any form of name, including pen names or signatures in foreign characters, as long as the identity of the issuer can be established.
